WHEN WE ARE NO LONGER DIVIDED
In my experience, awakening brings the love and light of our being into the deepest recesses of the subconscious mind - making it conscious to the pure light of Awareness. It is a sacred meeting where opposites come home to the purity of undifferentiated consciousness. The totality of our being is realized.
The depth of self love, loving all that we are including our darker nature - the seat and seed of all creativity - morphs and becomes universal love and unconditioned acceptance of life as it is. This is the peace that passes all understanding.
Bringing the shadow home to the light of Love dissolves the walls that creates the sense of out there and in here. Shadow boxing with the world gives way to moving as the Totality, as Love, so that all action is appropriate action.
We notice ourselves moving from a deeper sense within us. We're no longer divided by light and dark, and good and bad with the shadow fearfully driving us to chase our projections in the world. We trust the wisdom that brings us together, or moves us in different directions. Superiority and condemnation gives way to truthful and mutual coexistence. We discover the freedom to completely be ourselves.
REALITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH POSITIVE THINKING
So many spiritual people try to put a 'positive' spin on everything occurring in the world, and in their personal lives. Poets/philosophers are sometimes prone to do the same thing. They write poetically on the 'good' they harvested from their seeming 'negative' experiences. While it can help people to see things from a different perspective, it has very little to do with the truth of our Being.
I've learned that "waking up" has different meanings for people. Many believe they're 'awake' because they've learned a 'better' way to view the world and themselves. They believe it has to do with thoughts and thinking.
You will never find Reality in thoughts. Reality has nothing to do with positive and negative thinking. Consider the yin yang. To believe in one defines the other. Choosing one over the other sustains them both.

EVERY RELATIONSHIP OFFERS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR REVEALING MORE OF YOUR INNER LIGHT
Life is so incredibly beautiful. She's a ruthless teacher, but once you've come to love her challenges she shows you your true colors. Every relationship offers an opportunity for revealing more of your inner light and radiance. This is the true gift of relating.
Some of us are very old souls. You know who you are. An old soul isn't here to chase pleasure and waste time collecting lovely memories. No, the old soul is here to give themselves away. That's the secret, you know? The fulfillment isn't in sucking the morrow out of life for some temporary benefit. Beauty is in selflessness where only love remains. It is also the depths of self love. To love yourself is to give yourself to love.
Take heed old souls. Your journey is one of wisdom and beauty. The world has never understood you, but you already knew that. It's the way you welcome her challenges.. it's all you...lovely, you.

STAY OPEN & AVAILABLE TO DEEPER WATERS
As we turn inward to the unknown going deeply into ourselves we find there is no end to that... for each new depth is known by something deeper still... for those that lay hold of truth this moment may find bewilderment in the next, making the prior truth a distant memory.
Truth isn't discovered - it's admitted to. We are so profoundly the truth itself, that we can't get it wrong...yet, more avails itself to be admitted to.. Don't stop with the known that's a landing pad for a temporary flight...stay open and available to deeper waters that flow from a bottomless source... always be willing to admit the truth... even if it makes you wrong... you can't get it wrong...

WE MISS THE MARK WHEN WE MAKE COMPARISONS
Each of us is given a particular way for expressing. We're also given a huge responsibility that comes with Awareness. There's an ever present inner focus that holds us steady to our innate flow. It's known immediately when we're out of that flow. It's unbearable to pretend it isn't there. I feel we miss the mark when we make comparisons with each other, or between great teachers that have walked the planet. It's not wrong to make comparisons, and it can be useful in some circumstances.
Ramana and Jesus would be the first to remind you that you are God. All that is required of you is to be your natural self. All effort to be something else is a movement from what is true and present this moment. We only need to stop and find out what's steady and always present no matter what's occurring. Get intimate with this recognition and nurture it with your attention and awareness. A realized teacher is helpful at this point. They hold you there and can sense when there's movement out of Awareness and back into the conditioned mind.
We are the dreamer dreaming herSelf into existence. God dreams herself into form so to forget herself as God. God as form awakens to herself as God in remembrance and has the unique experience of her own expression as you! You are God the dreamer and you are God the dream. And since this it true for All, what is there to compare? Let us wake up to the deepest level of ourselves as All that is. This includes all the human feelings and emotions that present themselves. It is your own loving arms that are most wanted within. Don't deny this opportunity for deepening as Love. We're naturally more loving to each other as we've been more loving to every dimension of ourselves and our own forgetting and remembering. It's the same for everyone appearing in your life. Love and compassion flow naturally from remembrance.

AWARENESS IS NOT OF THE DUAL NOTION OF LIGHT & DARK
When someone asked the Buddha what happened to him, he replied: " I'm awake". True nature came into Self recognition. The conditioned mind slowly becomes transparent to Consciousness and thoughts are no longer believed to be the source of truth. Everything goes. There's death before resurrection. Awakening brings unity to perception over time. Enlightened and unenlightened no longer make sense. Conditioning ( shadow/ limited mind - same thing ) comes into conscious awareness for integration. This integration opens the heart to life as it is with great compassion and love. Embodiment and alignment goes on for a lifetime of integrating light and dark. They've never been separate, only thinking made it seem that way through belief in thoughts.
The bringing together of the opposites happens through the unified field of the awakened heart. It is bliss. When we believe thoughts are true and define them as: good or bad, we're creating and sustaining the experience of duality which doesn't exist anywhere but in the mind of man - the very foundation that created the concepts of light and dark by dividing experience into conceptual rights and wrong. The mind remains divided against itself through the constant categorizing and labeling of every experience.
In truth, experience is not broken up. Life is whole and undivided. When we look deeply we cannot find a division between Awareness and experience. They're inseparable - until we think about it. As we no longer believe in thoughts as the truth, attention begins to flow toward Awareness, the stillness of being. This is the dawning of clarity and the ability to flow as the innate intelligence of our being. Conditioning begins to dissolve when met with Love, acceptance, and non judgment. The light of Awareness is not of the dual notion of light and dark, it is the light of pure seeing with no separation anywhere. All is One. The seed of one is in the other and you can't have one without the other. Yin Yang. When a life has been surrendered to Awareness through the death of identifications with all that created a sense of a separate self, there's space between the conditioned mind and Awareness. Consciousness is no longer bound by the trance of thought. The thinking mind is within pure consciousness and is allowed to be as it is without identification with it.
This innate intelligence has always been in control of life, but was not known. Action that comes from conditioned mind is limiting and sustains duality and the wheel of cause and effect by the very belief in light and dark, good and bad, and right and wrong. Liberation from the conditioned mind ends the karmic wheel of cause and effect. The constant sorting out and meeting everything with expectation has come to an end. Consciousness is free and life flows unobstructed. We live our 'yes' to life as it is with heart wisdom. We transmit that love just by being who we truly are. The judging mind is not a problem. We just love her back home to the heart.
